World mesh should be accessible via script
Currently the world mesh mesh information is not accessible via script. This makes it difficult to do things like spatial understanding (i.e. voxelization of the mesh) as well as writing custom physics responses to the mesh.

Improve Undo Command (Ctrl + Z)
In LS 4 you could undo after importing something to the Resources/Asset Browser panel.
In LS 5 it only undo stuff in the Objects/Scene Hierarchy panel.
So if you import something, regret it and try to undo, it's going to undo the last action on the objects panel instead of the actual last action that was the import.
5 votesHey Caio, thanks for the report. Currently this is how lens studio 5.0 is setup. We will look into potentially tackling this in the future. Thanks for keeping this on our radar.

Camera lens
I have lenses that I designed myself, but I struggle a little while waiting and stopping at 200,000 and then fixing them

AI Portrait for Camera Kit
For now AI Portrait work on Snapchat app but not on web (even official Snap WebAR Link) and neither on iOS app using Camera Kit.
This would be a very nice feature to have 🤞4 votes -
Provide websocket support for camera kit
Having websocket support will open up many cool applications for camera kit for web, so it would be great to have it supported on camera kit!

Better Audio Component
We need better Audio Component, (scrub forward/backward, pause, stretch)
AudioComponent currently does not support dynamic playback rate or pitch adjustment, nor does it offer any time-stretching capability necessary for realistic scratching.
4 votesSome of this can be accomplished my manipulating the Audio Component directly (https://developers.snap.com/lens-studio/api/lens-scripting/classes/Built-In.AudioOutputProvider.html)
But understood on the feedback. We will look into it

UI Feedback Improvement for Importing External Resources in Lens Studio
Hi Lens Studio Team,
I’d like to request an improvement to the UI feedback when importing external resources into Lens Studio.
This morning, I attempted to add a script to a new component by searching for it by name. Lens Studio found the script, but since it wasn’t in the project folder, it automatically began importing it. However, because there was no clear indication of the import process (apart from the console log, which I didn’t check immediately), I attempted to add the script multiple times, only realizing later that it was still being imported. Eventually, this caused Lens Studio…
4 votesHey Vincent,
As attached, we do have a WIP indicator. However, it would be good for us to understand the crash a little bit better. (We are behind on this request, so you might have it anymore) but feel free to send the script.

Record the lens after X
There's new internal lenses that access this feature. Have us access the Record Snap function after 'x' would be super nice to guide users through certain experiences. Of course there's a trigger on Record but my lenses have massively decreased reach and engagement if i implement this. There's also no internal hint available for on Record.
4 votesThanks for the feedback! We've added this request to the product team's backlog!

UGC submissions directly from a Lens
Many of the brands we work with run competitions that require their audiences to activate using a lens and then submit the content to enter.
Previously we were able to solicit submissions by having the user direct message the content but since the roll out of brand profiles, users must now: follow the brand -> unlock the lens -> create the content -> @mention the brand -> post it to their story.
The additional friction from these steps has seen a steep decline in the number of entries brands have been receiving for these style of campaigns.
In an ideal…

iOS App Clips and Android Instant Apps
I want to enable users to try Snap AR experiences without needing to download the full app. This is often a barrier to entry for older users.
When a creator publishes they should see an App Clip Code, an Instant App code and the original SnapCode.
With these features I would be able to cut a lot of costs by not needing to deploy my own full mobile app to get the same functionality.
4 votesI believe you have seen that we have displayed this capability with a special internal lens. We are exploring ways to bring this feature to the public!

3D Object Tracking Flow
Similar to custom location AR, just minus the location.

Fix Physics Bodies
Only Box and Sphere physics bodies currently have stable reactions to collisions. Other bodies (capsule, cone, cylinder) do not respond as stabley with effects such as clipping or fast acceleration happening on interaction. This currently makes them difficult to use in projects.
4 votesHey Blake,
So after review here, the problems here seem to stem from the physics library that our system was built on. We don't currently have plans to make updates there. But if something changes, we will let you know!

GEN AI + Garment Transfer
Garment Transfer and Gen-AI have completely transformed the way I create my digital fashion. Since discovering this workflow, I no longer have to spend a lot of time and effort creating digital fashion using 3D body tracking and 3D modeled garments, which is a huge advantage considering my busy schedule. Integrating Gen-AI into Garment Transfer on version 5.0 would be a game-changer, allowing many new AR digital fashion creators to emerge and start creating without having to learn the million tools required for the task.
I would love to see the Garment Transfer tool expanded on version 5.0, with the…
4 votesThank you for your feedback on Garment Transfer. Your Lens ideas using ChatGPT and Garment Transfer are so cool! We are definitely considering expanding on the upper body garment options soon. The team is aware of demand for lower body garment options as well!

Behavior script with haptic feedback!
Haptic feedback is an amazing feature that sorta flew under the radar. Not many people even know they can add custom vibrations to their lenses! I modified the behavior script to add haptic feedback so even people who don't code can utilize it and grab their audience's attention!
I can't share the file, but I'm pretty sure it works!

Feature Request: Marketplace for Lens Studio
I would like to suggest the addition of a Marketplace within Lens Studio.
This feature would allow creators to:
• Share, buy, and sell assets such as scripts, shaders, materials, and templates.
• Access a wide library of ready-made components to speed up development.
• Collaborate and exchange resources within the creator community.3 votes -
Show exact node name matches first
In Node editors, when searching for a node (like the "Or" node), a bunch of other nodes show up as well because a lot of names contain the text. It would be great to get the "Or" node at the top of that list since it's an exact match

AI Portraits Beta - Can't Preview
The AI Portraits Beta guide says on topic 11 that we can preview the effect by tapping on the preview screen, however this is not working.
I also tried pushing to the device and got an error "Something went wrong. Failed to Generate Your Appearance).
It only works when I publish the Lens.

A/B testing in lenses
During the latest SLN all hands the team gave some insights into game lenses that caught my eye:
Having the user's front camera visible with picture in picture lead to higher engagement on spotlight. Versus focusing entirely on the game lead to higher retention, and greater shareability between friends.
As lenses become more and more complex, it would be great to have more insight into what makes our lenses engaging. Having a A/B testing suite would go a long way for optimization.
Give us the ability able to swap out or toggle certain components, and see which variant gives the…
